Class of 83 is a period film, the story of which is taken from the unpublished novel by S. Hussain Zaidi. It is the story of an IPS officer, Dean Vijay Singh, who is given a posting in the police academy as punishment, where he trains five police officers to become dangerous assassins to break the corrupt bureaucracy and the nexus of criminals.
